She has contributed to the Brooklyn Rail, Art in America, Dear Dave, and the New York Review of Books, among other publications, and written essays for numerous photography books, including Running Falling Flying Floating Crawling (Saint Lucy Books) and A Trilogy by Jessica Backhaus (Kehrer Verlag).
