Hans Haacke
For six decades, Hans Haacke (b. Cologne, Germany, 1936) has been a pioneer in Kinetic art, environmental art, Conceptual art, and institutional critique. He has had solo exhibitions at the New Museum, New York (2019, 1986); Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid (2012); and MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge, MA (2011, 1967); among others. He has participated in international exhibitions including documenta, Kassel (2017, 1997, 1987, 1982, 1972); Lyon Biennial (2017); Venice Biennale (2015, 2009, 1993, 1976); Liverpool Biennial (2014); and others. He won the prestigious Golden Lion (shared with Nam June Paik) at the Venice Biennale in 1993. Haacke has lived and worked in New York since 1965.
Yasi Alipour
Iranian artist, writer, and folder Yasi Alipour currently lives in Brooklyn and wonders about paper, counting, and silence. She received her MFA from Columbia University and is a faculty member at Columbia, Parsons and SVA, New York.

Orchid Tierney
Orchid Tierney is a poet and scholar from Aotearoa, New Zealand. She is the author of the collection a year of misreading the wildcats (The Operating System, 2019) and seven chapbooks, most recently looking at the tiny: Mad lichen on the surfaces of reading (Essay Press, forthcoming). Her scholarship, reviews, and poetry have appeared or are forthcoming in Jacket2, Venti, Fractured Ecologies, Substance, the Cambridge Companion to American Poetry and Politics since 1900, among others. She is the recipient of the Ohio Arts Council Y22 Individual Artist Excellence Award and is the Black Earth Institute Fellow for 2022–25. She is an assistant professor of English at Kenyon College.
